Chapters 15,16,17

In these last three chapters of the book a lot happens to David, Rosalind and Petra. The first thing that happens is that David see Sophie again and finds out that she in love with the spider-man. I think that its really cute that David gets to see Sophie again. Sophie tries to help David, Rosalind and Petra get out of the Fringes so she tells them to stay in a cave until she comes back. At the end of the book the girl from Sealand and Michael come to help them and they leave in the Sealand girl on her plane and Michael goes to look for Rachel. I think that there should be a second book because this book end really abruptly and leaves you hanging on what could happen next and were the Sealand girl is taking them does Michael find Rachel and what happened to Davids family after they lefted the Waknuk.  

Chapters 13-14

In these chapters David, Rosalind and Petra are in Wild Country they are trying to get out of the open field without getting spotted by one of the villagers. David realizes that it would be better to kill Rosalind and Petra than to let the Fringes people get them. Petra discovers a girl from Zealand but David and Rosalind think that she's from Sealand.

Chapters 11-12

In chapter 11 David and Rosalind teach Petra how to talk to people telepathic. Also Petra's horse dies and Petra wants a new pony. David finds out that his little sister is a very quick learner and might be better than the rest of the gifted people. In chapter 12 Rosalind, David and Petra run away because people are finding out about their gift and its only a matter of time before people start looking for them.

Chapters 9-10

In these chapters David little sister sister Petra seems normal but is she really a normal child or not. David's friend Alan died because of his wife. You also hear David saying a handsome his cousin Rosalind is. I didn't really understand these couple of chapters very much because apparently Petra is now 6 and I thought she was just born. 

Chapters 7-8

In this chapter we find out that David has a new little sister and that his Auntie wanted to take his little sister for a couple of weeks because she also had a baby and it way deviated. But, his Auntie decides to commit suicide. In the next chapter David finds out that the boy that just simply disappeared had been killed. So the seven remaining telepathic kids decided to tell each other their names and where they lived.  

Chapters 5-6

In chapters 5-6 David and Sophie find out what it is like to say goodbye to a friend. At the begin of chapter 5 David and Sophie are catching shrimp-like creature and a long come a boy that's two year older then David. The boy (Alan) saw a foot print on the rock that had six toes and seeing Sophie assumed that Sophie was a deviation. After Sophie hit Alan with a rock David brings Sophie home to tell her parents what happened. When David found out that Sophie and her parents were leaving for good David didn't understand why they had to leave. David knew if they stayed something bad would happen to Sophie. In chapter 6 David's father forces David to tell him about Sophie and where they were going. David finds out that Sophie had been caught and brought back. His Uncle Axle tells David that it wouldn't be a good idea to run away because the world is a dangerous plane outside of Waknak.  

chapters 3-4

In the third chapter of the Chrysalids the main character David dreams that his father kills Sophie. The fourth chapter David’s father wants to kill some of David’s Uncles horses. In my opinion I don’t like this novel because it’s really slow to get to the point and it’s really creepy.  I do not like the fact that people could be so judgementally about the way people and animals are created.
