Chapters 9-10

In these chapters David little sister sister Petra seems normal but is she really a normal child or not. David's friend Alan died because of his wife. You also hear David saying a handsome his cousin Rosalind is. I didn't really understand these couple of chapters very much because apparently Petra is now 6 and I thought she was just born.

    I agree - I was confused at first too. At the end of Chapter 8 there is a line "Somehow, though caution, luck, and quick recoveries we managed to escape direct suspicion and live our two diverging lives for the next six years without the sense of peril becoming sharp." This tells us that 6 years pass.
